EaseAway · Field Notes

About this guide.

Why we built EaseAway, what’s inside, and what you can trust about every number on the page.

No. I · Origin

Built by a real family, for real families.

We spent forty hours planning one family trip. Researching hotels, comparing prices across dates, finding kid-friendly restaurants, figuring out which activities were actually worth doing, making a packing list, budgeting everything — and at the end of all that, the trip itself was over before we’d finished spreading the work across enough browser tabs. We said: never again.

EaseAway was born from that frustration. We built the tool we wished existed — one place where you can search hotels, build a day-by-day itinerary, find restaurants, create a packing list, and export the whole thing as a PDF. Twenty minutes instead of twenty hours.

No. II · What’s inside

Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.

No. III · How it works

Three steps from blank page to packed bag.

  1. Tell us what matters. Filter by what your family needs — pool, breakfast, budget, location, the activities you actually like.
  2. We do the research. Real hotel data and curated activities, sourced from Google Places and our own vetting. Every record cites where it came from.
  3. You get a complete trip plan. Day-by-day itinerary, budget breakdown, packing list. Export as PDF in one click.

No. IV · Honesty

No ads. No tracking. No selling your data.

EaseAway is completely free. We don’t run ads. We don’t track you. We don’t sell your data. Your trip plans stay in your browser — we never even see them.

We built this because we needed it, and we think other families need it too.
