By using EaseAway, you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable — no walls of legalese. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What you pay.

EaseAway is currently free to use. No subscriptions, no premium tiers, no hidden charges. If that ever changes, we'll tell you clearly before charging anything — you'll never be billed by surprise.

How we plan to keep the lights on: if you follow a hotel partner link and complete a qualifying booking, EaseAway may receive an affiliate commission. EaseAway does not add a separate booking fee, but the partner controls the final price, inventory, taxes, fees, cancellation rules, and eligibility. Compare and verify those terms before booking.

What EaseAway is.

EaseAway is a trip planning tool. It helps families research and organize vacations to popular Southeast US destinations. It surfaces hotel information, attraction details, restaurant suggestions, day-by-day itinerary tools, budget calculators, and packing lists. Where we have data, we surface it; where we don't, we say so.

What EaseAway is not.

EaseAway is not a booking service. We do not process reservations, payments, or bookings of any kind. Links to hotels, attractions, and restaurants are informational; clicking them takes you to third-party sites where the actual booking happens. Once you click out to a partner site, the partner's terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

Where the data comes from.

EaseAway combines versioned Google place records with official park, campground, road, and destination sources. Images can come from licensed provider records, public-domain sources, or clearly labeled editorial mood assets. When a quoted review snippet is shown, software requires it to match source review text; derived labels or summaries are not presented as direct quotes.

Even with that, hotel prices, hours, and amenities can drift between updates. Treat every number on the page as a research starting point, not a contract. Always verify prices, availability, and amenities directly with the business before relying on them.

What you're responsible for.

• Verifying hotel prices and availability before booking.
• Confirming restaurant hours, menus, and reservations.
• Checking attraction availability, pricing, age restrictions, and safety requirements.
• Making your own travel decisions and safety judgments — especially anything involving children, accessibility, or dietary restrictions.
• Reading and accepting the terms of any partner site you click through to.

Limitation of liability.

EaseAway is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses, damages, or inconveniences arising from your use of the site — including but not limited to incorrect pricing, unavailable hotels, closed attractions, or decisions you made based on information we surfaced.

If you spot something that's wrong, please use the private correction form — we'd rather fix it than have anyone rely on stale data.

Public guides and account workspaces.

Public destination and camping guides do not require an account. The hotel and trip-planning workspaces currently require sign-in by magic link. You may sign out anytime, request deletion of your cloud-stored data through the private data-deletion form, and remain responsible for activity on your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts used to abuse the service (automated scraping, security probes, harassment). If we do, we'll explain why and give you a chance to download or delete your data.

Intellectual property.

The design, copy, code, and brand of EaseAway belong to EaseAway. Place, map, road, campground, photo, and review data remain subject to the rights and licenses of their respective providers and public agencies. You may save, print, and share your own trip plans through the product’s available tools; you may not redistribute the underlying catalog as a separate dataset.

Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of EaseAway after a change constitutes acceptance. Substantial changes (anything affecting your data or money) will be flagged on the homepage and announced before they take effect.
